Domestic / foreign

Also called: foreign llc, foreign corporation, domestic entity, foreign entity

Relative to one state's records: an entity is domestic in the state that formed it and foreign everywhere else it registers to do business. A California LLC operating in Nevada is a foreign LLC on Nevada's books. Nothing to do with other countries.
